What we collect and why
- Email subscription: your email address and language, to send you the trip-planning template and our emails (one a month at most).
- Comments: the name, email and IP address you leave when commenting, to publish your comment and prevent spam.
- Emails you send us: whatever details you include, only to reply to you.
Legal basis
Your consent, given when you tick the box on the form or write to us (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time. Protecting the website against abuse is based on our legitimate interest.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Comments are kept for as long as they remain published.
Who else processes it
We never sell or share your data. It is only processed on our behalf by the providers we need to run the website: our web hosting provider in the European Union and Cloudflare, which protects and speeds up the site (Cloudflare may process data outside the EU under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses). If we start using a newsletter service, we will list it here.
Your rights
You can ask us for access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability of your data by writing to [email protected]. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you can file a complaint with Ireland’s Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) or your local data protection authority.
Children
This website is not aimed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
